DA Public School (O&A Levels)

ABOUT school

DA Public School (O’ & A’ Levels) is situated in the phase VIII of DHA. Away from the centre of the city, the institution nurtures an ideal educational environment for both students and teachers.

Its unique framework is spread over 10 acres of land. It caters to the needs of over two thousand and two hundred students under the support and guidance provided by the Education Directorate and the Administrator Defence Housing Authority.

Our Origins

The genesis of DA Public School (O’ & A’ Levels) was linked to the concept of introducing Cambridge system in the DHA Scheme of schooling at an affordable fee structure to Armed Forces and DHA employees in particular and to the public, at large.

DA Public School (O’ & A’ Levels) is the brainchild of Mr. Mehmood-uz-Zaman Khan, also the first Principal of the institution. It first started functioning within the very vicinity of D.A Model School, Phase IV, in May 1997, with the strength of 114 students.

Accomplishments

The School was shifted to its present campus in April, 2000.
Inception of A’Level classes in September, 2002.
University of Cambridge Fellowship status in October, 2007.
Introduction of Pre-Primary Program in August, 2012.
